Love Day 2013: Glass bottom kayaking

Since before we were married we have always called Valentines Day 'Love Day'. We remember our sweet flower girl, Haileigh Paige (who is not so little anymore), calling it this and so we just continue to celebrate 'Love Day' as a couple!   * I should note that we don't go crazy for 'Love Day' in this household, but hey...any excuse for chocolates and candy is a holiday that I will support 100%!!!!!

Dave is now in the midst of 5th term, which I recently learned that there are only 13 more weeks left of (CRAZY....I don't want to leave this island!!!) and drum roll please....this means he is preparing for midterms and studying once again!!!!

As we looked at the calendar, and were trying to plan a few adventures that we wanted to conquer before heading home in May (Well June 1st to be exact), we realized that Dave's availability, which really is slim-to-none already, was becoming increasingly smaller.  So this weekend won and we decided to do an afternoon adventure...we then decided that this would be our 'Love Day' outing. (I am sure some chocolates and dessert will be followed next week!)

After doing a little searching, and of course posting on the oh so trusty 'SO Page', we came to learn  of a little Kayaking company that takes you out with a guide on a two person, glass bottom kayak!  Let me just say...it was amazing!

It was such a great afternoon touring Grand Mal Bay and Dragon Bay, watching fish, and of course viewing the underwater sculpture park; and we could not believe how cheap this tour was!  I would highly recommend doing this little adventure!!!
